Celebrating the Launch of Sweat to Swim

In between days of unpredictable Spring downpours and temperature dips, the Sydney sun put on its finest performance, shining and then setting over an intimate afternoon spent on the water, in celebration of our SS23 SWEAT TO SWIM collection launch.  

Guests arrived by Uber on-demand and private tender to Lilypad Palm Beach. A luxury floating villa situated on the harbour city’s Northern Beaches, Lilypad proved the perfect location to experience the iconic Australian urban-coastal life, and the effortless summer style of the SWEAT TO SWIM collection.

The Perfect Summer Wardrobe

The day overflowed with head-turning summer outfits, top-shelf Don Julio cocktails, and a seasonal menu prepared by Lilypad’s private chef.  

Hosted by P.E Nation co-founder Pip Edwards, the vibrant affair was celebrated with friends of the brand including Sammy Robinson, Josh Carroll, Liv Rahmé and more.  

Guests were invited to choose outfits and looks from the new collection to wear on the day, providing the perfect opportunity to experience the range firsthand, and try pieces custom-designed to transition from workout to water - just in time for the spring/summer season.

In Australia, where summer temps sit comfortably over 25 degrees Celsius for most of the season, and evenings stretch long and hazy, it's a popular tradition to clock off from a day at the office and head straight for the closest beach or pool to catch up with friends, workout on the sand, dive into the water, and horizon gaze as the sun goes down.

The SWEAT TO SWIM collection is inspired by this iconic Australian urban-coastal lifestyle, and is designed to support that workout-to-water transition - with elevated active looks featuring Italian-made swim fabric that performs just as well in the ocean, as it does on land.

Welcoming Summer in Style

Alongside a light summer menu prepared by Lilypad's private chef, custom cocktails crafted for the event included a Classic Margarita prepared with Don Julio Blanco, a Paloma featuring Don Julio Reposado, and Pip's cocktail of choice for the summer season ahead - a Bloody Maria made using Don Julio Anejo.
 
Good times rolled through to golden hour, with guests enjoying the opportunity to dive right off the deck, soak up the sauna, and take in the serenity of Pittwater and the sheltered bay surrounds, as DJ Levi Neufeld provided an idyllic summer soundtrack.
