POWER UP. The bar is rising this season. Bring your A game.
P.E Nation has developed the ultimate in fashion-infused, active-streetwear. It's collections have become the ultimate in style pairing and this season kicks off with a fresh colour pallet of atmospheric shades blue glass, aqua and amber orange.
You’ve been acquiring leggings and they’re your go-to however, there is a bike pant revival – high rise and to the knee it’s a style you can mix & match. Worn back with a crop to train or an oversized sweat and lifestyle sneaker to elevate, it’s versatile and here to stay.
This collection features more technical fabrications and artistic ways. High-end applications through high performing scuba constructions and space panelled spray pants feature in the first drop. Luxe sweat pants - spray, pointe and brushed fleeced, are designed to tie back with high-fashion sneakers and oversized hoodies. Off-duty street style has been transformed – it’s all-day, every-day wear now and active-street is now the blueprint for everything in your wardrobe.
Do we need to slow down? There’s a lot to take in here. Leggings with compression lines and body sculpting qualities are pared back with cutting edge crops and active tanks. Inspired by ringside workouts, custom black and gold badges are highlighted on legs and shorts in flame red, dresden blue and P.E Nation pink.
Taking cues from tailoring and really turning up the volume - tracksuits are proving to be a powerful alternative to casual dressing. Electric blue, bright red and soft pink provide the perfect back drop to retro print sweats, pop over sprays, layered jackets, custom print tees and cropped computerised knit sweats.
Lightweight windbreakers, vintage graphic prints layered onto baseball sweats and tees, colour blocked spray pants with zips to adjust the volume round out the collection.
Pixelated colour blocking, striking panels, heritage logo branding and flashes of retro candy stripe prints feature throughout. What distinguishes P.E Nation is its pop colours and considered design details. It’s the special pieces activewear is pared back with - and hero styles there are a plenty.
This season the frequency is running high. It’s pretty powerful. POWER UP.
P.E Nation was established in Sydney, Australia by fashion aficionados Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning. Since its launch in 2016, the brand's range of street-meets-sportswear has expanded to include technical activewear, retro-inspired streetwear, functional snow gear, footwear, and accessories. 2019 will see the introduction of new categories, exclusive capsules, and many global initiatives and collaborations for the brand.
P.E Nation comes from a need for multi-faceted activewear, given the global shift towards juggling fast pace life. This gap in the market is what led two best friends with an impressive history in fashion to create P.E Nation. Their design and business pedigree, together with a clear and distinct vision for the brand, has seen them create covetable and adaptable activewear that is taking on the international scene.
The P.E Nation philosophy is centered around quality design and construction while offering fashion forward, comfortable and functional pieces designed to take you to from the studio to the street. The brand reflects a sense of unity and celebrates an active way of life.
P.E Nation is for an urban life, lived at fast-pace. Designed to perform all day, every day.
Welcome to the Nation.
With an impressive history in Fashion and a Bachelor of Commerce/Law, Pip's longstanding career has seen her work in PR and Design for Ksubi, whilst also being a freelance stylist with DLM - before landing her Senior Creative and Accessories Designer role at sass & bide. This is where her creative working relationship, and friendship, with P.E co-founder, Claire Tregoning, was cemented. It was only after Edwards made the pivotal move to General Pants Co as Design Director, that she was able to fully grasp and understand the retail landscape. She's now made a mark, utilising her own name sake initials and retro-tomboy style, to launch P.E Nation.
With a celebrated and longstanding career in fashion, Claire hails from a background of fashion and textile design. Shortly after graduation, Claire landed her first role with TopShop in London. After 2 years, she embarked on a solo journey and launched Maise - her own ready-to-wear label focusing on fashion and denim - this sucessful venture for Claire lead to her appointment as Senior Designer at sass & bide - Denim and Knitwear Specialist. sass & bide laid the organic foundation for what would become the ultimate C.T and P.E creative hub. It was only a matter of time and so fitting, that Claire and Pip would join forces to pursue their own vision, a shared vision of P.E Nation.
