DESIGN ROOM ASSISTANT

Full-time, Sydney head office


We are seeking a full time Design Room Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Designer - Womens & Menswear, you will be required to complete general design room duties such as CADS, L/D requests and approvals and setting up styles in AX and assist and book fittings where required. This position will see you liaising with local and International suppliers, managing sample ranges each season to arrive on brief, on time and of the highest standard and quality. You will assist in sourcing fabrics and trims as well as overseeing QC samples during the design process. The position also includes team support, coordination and administrative tasks.



The successful applicant will possess:

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Full-time, Sydney head office


We are seeking a full-time Production Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, you will be required to support the Production, QA and Design teams by ensuring quality standards and size specifications are adhered to throughout the development and production process for all off-shore manufactured products. In this position, it will be essential to efficiently communicate with offshore suppliers on all production related matters. You will be across production fit sessions with QA/Design team when required, taking notes and following up on actions items. This role is suited to an experienced Production Assistant, who is detail orientated, hardworking and thrives in a fast-paced creative environment with a dynamic team.



The successful applicant will possess:

  • / +2 years in a similar role
  • / A self-starting, enthusiastic attitude
  • / Long term commitment to the brand and role
  • / Experience in a similar role that required a high level of attention to detail for a brand in retail or wholesale
  • / An accurate understanding and translation of the intended design
  • / Experience in creating production costing sheets and production work orders in an in-house system
  • / Knowledge in fabric, trim and garment testing
  • / The ability to identify and prevent potential production and QC problems
  • / Strong eye for quality product and product finishes
  • / Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • / Spec knowledge for executing spec and BOM updates, knowledge of patterns, specs and garment construction
  • / Ability to assist in the management and filing of SMS/PP/SHIPPER samples
  • / Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • / Forward thinking and problem-solving skills
  • / Sound knowledge of Excel, Word, Illustrator
